Geologically study consists 420 m thick Alluvium. Only top 40 accessible for direct wells.

متن کاملEstimation of Aquifer Parameters in Basaltic Terrain and the Application of Wireless Sensor Networks; Chikaldhara Region, Amravati District, Maharashtra, India
The estimation of aquifer parameters, like transmissivity (T) and storativity (S), is vital for evaluating and managing groundwater resources. Hydrograph analysis and pumping tests are among the different methods available to estimate aquifer parameters, but pumping tests are the most commonly used. The study and data presented in this paper was conducted in the Chikaldhara Region (Amravati Dis...

Precipitation extremes have always been part of the Earth’s climate system and associated multiple damaging hydrological events (MDHEs), the simultaneous triggering of different types of phenomena (landslides and floods), affect an always-increasing portion of human settlement areas. This paper aims to investigate the relationship between the temporal evolution of severe geomorphological events...

متن کاملHemimysis anomala is established in the Shannon River Basin District in Ireland
The Ponto-Caspian mysid shrimp Hemimysis anomala was found in Ireland for the first time in April 2008. During 2009 it was found throughout most of the Shannon River Navigation (~250km) occurring in swarms at estimated densities of ~6 per litre in shallows and in lower densities at depths of ~20m where its distribution overlaps with the native Mysis salemaai. Broods were found from March to Sep...
